SYNERGYA JOURNEY FROM STRUGGLE TO SUCCESS

January, 2017 Monday , KVKGSS has started its step towards achievement of
excellence under the guided route of MR JAGDISH INDALKAR – The Former Principal
of the school, with the support of MR. NITESHBHAI BHANSALI – The Chairman of
the Ghatkopar branch school of THE NEW SARVJANIK EDUCATION SOCIETY COMMITTEE,
Wadala.
The
Principal declared to observe THE PROJECT DAY on 09th December, 2017
– a step towards initiation of CONSTRUCTIVISM – a novel method in teaching-
learning process. In order to make the teachers choose an appropriate path, the
principal arranged for two ORIENTATION SESSIONS.
The
first was on 10th October, 2017 Saturday – a day before Diwali
vacation by the revered Mr. Sandeep Geed –a senior
teacher of MAHILA SANGH HIGH SCHOOL , VILE PARLE. The orientor was trained by
the great international trainer DR. SUBBIR SHUKLA, who has given live examples
of bringing about a drastic educational improvement in mediocre category of
pupils. This ABL WORKSHOP provided
with ideas to the teachers who in turn got clarified with the concept of
CONSTRUCIVISM. He also induced the value of ERAC ie E- Experience ; R –
Reflection ; A – Application ; C – Consolidation.
The
second major session was on 19th November, 2017 Sunday . Experts
were invited all the way from SATARA, who used CONSTRUCTIVISM in their day to
day teaching – learning process in their schools namely :- MR. VIJAY DIXIT ,
MR. RAMCHANDRA, MR. SANTOSH NIKAM and
MR. GANESH SHELAR. They had successfully conducted the ABL WORKSHOP in
90 different schools in Mumbai and requests were still piled up in their lists
from further more schools. They believed in carrying on day to day teaching –
learning smoothly. Hence, always conducts orientations on Sundays in order to
avoid disturbances to the pupils and administrators in running their
educational institutions. The program was very educative and informative.
PRE – PREPARATIONS:
1.
The school schedule reframed, restructured.
2.
All children were segregated standard wise into
the number of subjects.
3.
Each subject had 22 pupils who would be further
split into two groups of 12 and 13 pupils respectively making a project.
4.
Every teacher were allotted with approximately
46 pupils with two subjects. The teacher was supposed to provide ideas and
guide children to make FOUR EXHIBITS ie two exhibits per subject.
5.
Last two
periods for a span of fifteen days were allotted for shuffling of pupils into
assigned groups, subjects under a teacher to make the exhibits within the
stipulated school hours.

The parent, pupil were assigned with a schedule
wherein only two pupils would represent an exhibit for just two hours and leave
the moment , the next batch pupil arrived to take the charge.
2.
Altogether 1707 pupils participated presenting
140 exhibits.
3.
Systematic arrangement of pupil parent visitor
was chalked out.
An
article was published to promulgate, invitations were send, feedback forms,
shoulder tags for teachers, pupils participants, the guests and the discipline
volunteers were made, The responses were astounding. The pupils , the
principals of different schools, various officials from educational department
all were eagerly looking forward to witness the BIG SHOW. Parents, pupils,
teachers with the principal were working hard to make SYNERGY – a prolific
exhibition day – the most memorable one.
Finally,
09th December, 2017 Saturday arrived with too much of anxiety,
excitement, and curiosity. Every soul of KVKGSS was on their toes to give their
best. Even the Ex- pupils played a very significant role in their own little
way. The Chief Guest – MS PRACHI RAVINDRA SATHE – Officer on Special Duty
Education Minister Government of Maharashtra, along with THE NEW SARVAJANIK EDUCATION
SOCIETY’’S President SHRI. CHANUBHAI SHAH, Chairman SHRI NITESHBHAI BHANSALI
and the Invitee – MR. CHANDUBHAI MEHTA were welcomed with a BAND PRESENTATION
at the entrance who then inaugurated SYNERGY (The Best Brains pooling their
Best Efforts together). Having witnessed the exhibits these dignitaries entered
the school auditorium for a short formal program in which THE CHIEF GUEST
appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of the teachers, the principal, the
arrangement, the hospitality and the confidence of an individual pupil in
presenting their exhibits. EACH ONE TEACH ONE WAS APTLY DISPLAY because EVERY
PUPIL DID TALK on the said occasion. She further requested the committee’s dignitaries
to support the school always to furthermore carry out such AN EDUCATIONAL MEGA
EVENTS in future and also allow teachers of different school to get firsthand
experience in the implementation of ABL METHODOLOGY by visiting the school. She
left with a hand written appreciation
note to the school and assured to raise the school’s reputation all over for
standing as an epitome for all the schools in Mumbai in the faculty of ABL and
CONSTRUCTIVISIM.
A Short
review session was conducted immediately after school for all the teachers of
KVKGSS by The Principal MR. JAGDISH INDALKAR, The chairman SHRI NITESHBHAI
BHANSALI and The Administrator SMT. A.K. BALIGA. The appreciation note was read
out, feedback from the teachers was taken, and loop holes in arrangements were
pointed out. It occurred due to lack of manpower in canteen who had to provide
refreshments to the large number of guests (approximately 300 and above mostly
Principals of different schools) which was decided to overcome in near future. This session came to an end with a note of achievement
and heartfelt gratitude conveyed by both the administrator and the school
chairman to THE PRINCIPAL MR. JAGDISH INDALKAR
for undertaking such a great task at hand, accomplishment of the same
with perfection and the influences/ contacts that has helped put KVKGSS in lime
light thereby bringing about EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
The
entire experience proves that impossible aptly states I AM POSSIBLE so go on
taking risks in life and reach the peak of success always for educational
enhancement as STRENGTH AND GROWTH COMES
ONLY THROUGH CONTINOUS EFFORTS AND STRUGGLE.
